On the mend

Well, if anyone has noticed I have not been around so much, that's because I just spent a fun-filled week at HDH (that being the local hospital) dealing with some of my usual health issues that pop up from now and then (none contagious, and none what you would call "social" in origin :-P)

I'm home now and quite happy to be, and pretty stoked that next week is reading week, so I have a little extra time to recoup, as well as to write the paper that was due last week, just a day or two after my admittance. Have missed everyone and hope all is well.

The good part was missing the crushing annual deflation of the spirits known as Valentines day, although I did receive some nice Val's/Get well flowers from some friends as well a giant nine-inch spike. For the iron deficiency, dontcha know. I laughed my ass off.

So I am off to chill and watch a movie, my girls come home tomorrow and I have missed them so much, I am just glad I can count on their dad and his GF to take good care of them.

Anyway, thats mine and me as of late.

Well what's the Bad news then?

"Don't Worry, It's Not Cancer."

I imagine these are pretty fantastic words to hear if you been waiting for an answer on something health-related.

But shit, when it comes out of the blue, it's pretty fucking disconcerting...

"Well there was an abnormality, but DON'T WORRY, IT'S NOT CANCER." Who the FUCK mentioned CANCER? I didn't. Like HOLY FUCK.

People SUCK balls. part 2.

Yup. Nothing like harassment from your ex's ex and her bratty kid. This is turning out to be a banner fucking week.

People SUCK balls.

Note to folks everywhere:

It is in REALLY bad form to badmouth a colleague to a higher-up when said colleague is not present to defend herself. That includes university professors.

Those that do need to contract a nasty case of chlamydia.
